Israel's Northern Command is ramping up its readiness with a drill aimed at enhancing combat proficiency on the Lebanon front, the Israeli army has announced.
Under the banner of "increased competence and readiness," the reserve battalions of the Etzioni Brigade (6) recently engaged in a rigorous exercise in the Western Galilee, orchestrated by the National Center for Land Training (MLA), as revealed by the Israeli army.
This exercise, designed to mirror combat conditions in Lebanon, saw infantry, armor, and engineering units collaborating operationally in challenging mountainous terrain, employing camouflage tactics and combat strategies.
Throughout the conflict, the Etzioni Brigade has been at the forefront of defending Israel's northern border, with fighters deployed extensively from Ras al-Naqoura to the Golan Heights, the Israeli army affirmed.
Meanwhile, the 91st Division Headquarters undertook exercises targeting various scenarios aimed at expediting preparedness for potential attacks in the region, the army disclosed.
In a separate maneuver dubbed the Uzbat Hiram (769) exercise, brigade units, in tandem with the Air Force and logistical personnel from the Northern Command, simulated aerial resupply missions to maneuvering forces within hostile territory.
With these intensive drills, Israel is demonstrating its unwavering commitment to maintaining a high level of combat readiness and adaptability, ensuring it can effectively respond to any challenge on the Lebanon front.
