The Inner Game to Becoming Rich - The Formula Part 1

Welcome back to another quick self-help guide! Today, I'm going to reveal the formula for becoming rich. Stay tuned until the end of this episode to discover the master key to wealth. But first, a disclaimer: This article will not offer any quick-fix solutions or get-rich-quick schemes, as those rarely work. Instead, we will focus on the inner game you must master to become rich. This is a foundational episode, and the key insight is that money problems are not external—they are internal.

The Inner Game to Becoming Rich - The Formula Part 1

The Psychology of Wealth

Whether you're struggling to pay your bills or aspiring to be a millionaire, this principle applies: Money issues cannot be fixed by merely acquiring more cash. These problems are psychological. To become rich, you need to be ready for it. There are no secrets or shortcuts, except perhaps winning the lottery. The truth is, you have to work for it—but you need to work smart.

Limiting Beliefs: The Barrier to Wealth

Most people are not wealthy because they hold too many limiting beliefs about themselves. How is that possible? It sounds crazy, but the subconscious mind is the number one reason people are not wealthy. For example, if someone believes they cannot earn over $20,000 a month, they never will. If someone believes money is evil or anti-spiritual, they will never become rich.

People may also believe that money is too hard to make because the market is saturated, or that they lack the capital to start a business. These are just a few examples of limiting beliefs about money. To appreciate the power of these beliefs, you need to look inward and see that external obstacles are illusions. Your poor understanding of money is the real issue.

Shifting Your Paradigm

To become rich, you need to rewire your mind—change your psychology. Here are a few scenarios to illustrate the difference between the poor and the rich:

  • Rich People Think Abundance; Poor People Think Lack: Forget about what you lack—whether it's a good education, a supportive family, or finances. Focusing on the negative attracts negativity. You need to become rich inside before you can be rich outside.

  • The Power of Positive Visualization: Muhammad Ali called himself "the greatest" before he became the number one boxer. Conor McGregor visualized himself as a champion before achieving it. They created opportunities through their mentality.

Creating a Wealthy Identity

Your identity shapes your reality. If you perceive yourself as a smoker, you will smoke. If you perceive yourself as rich, you will attract wealth. Your beliefs construct your reality, and these beliefs are deeply wired in your subconscious mind.

To change your beliefs, you must work with yourself. While I won't go into detail about how to change your beliefs in this video, stay tuned and subscribe to this channel for future content on that topic.

Developing a Strong Work Ethic

Understand that there are no quick fixes. Society bombards us with products and services promising instant solutions, but true wealth requires effort. The advanced technology of today offers more opportunities than ever to become rich, but you still have to work for it.

  • Take 100% Responsibility: Don't blame the system, society, or the economy. Blame your fears, limiting beliefs, and poor understanding of wealth.

  • Mastery Takes Time: To excel at anything, including becoming rich, takes time and practice. This is a lifelong process.

Clarity and Purpose

To become rich, you must have clarity about why you want to be wealthy. This clarity, combined with a strong life purpose, is crucial. Consider characters in movies who live for one goal—they leave no room for failure and are ready to die for their purpose. This kind of determination is what you need.

  • Set Clear Goals: Write down your goals and work on yourself. Develop a big-picture understanding of wealth.

Overcoming the Past

Don’t let past experiences determine your future. Whether in finances, relationships, or business, everyone has had good and bad experiences. People often let negative past experiences hold them back more than they allow positive experiences to propel them forward.

  • Learn from Mistakes: Use past experiences to learn, not to limit yourself. Remember, your thoughts create your reality, and most of the time, they reflect your beliefs shaped by past experiences.

Building a Wealthy Foundation

Building a Wealthy Foundation

To become rich, understand that you must earn it. Quick fixes and pyramid schemes rarely work. Develop a strong work ethic, create a positive identity, watch out for limiting beliefs, have clarity, and take 100% responsibility for your life. Cultivate a life purpose and don’t let past experiences hold you back.
